For this complex and critical field of application, the Schmersal Group offers (safety) switchgear, which where developed and manufactured in accordance with the ATEX Directives as well as other, non-European regulations regarding explosion protection. The centre of competence for Ex switchgear within the Schmersal Group is Elan Schaltelemente GmbH&Co.KG, located at Wettenberg. In April 2008, the production of this subsidiary was certified according to the ATEX Directives. more
