RFID key-operated selector switch Range ESS21/I Application: RFID-supported key-operated selector switches, when used in connection with a suitable sequencing circuit, are particularly suited for implementation as an operation mode selector switch when special authorisation-based operating modes are to be performed by machines, mechanical plants, and integrated production systems. This means that specific operation modes can be initiated only in connection with both the RFID code in the transponders of the appliance keys, and an appropriate setting of the device. The Schmersal Group extends its programme of optoelectronic safety guards through the acquisition of Safety Control GmbH and Safety Protec GmbH, located at Mühldorf/ Inn.
