Earlier this year we started to actively promote the SafeLine range of auto-diallers or emergency telephones. With this second edition e-news we are pleased to promote the latest products to the market. The new SL1 , a variant to the SafeLine MX2, with screw connections and separate connector for pictograms. Emergency Power Battery Back-Up options for 24v and 230v supply. Upgrade your lift to comply with EN81-70: The Encoder Package for the FD4 & VV4 is easy to install – usually under one hour. The system is completely independent from the control panel. Finally – the GL4 & GL5 units. The GL4 provides a GSM option for all SafeLine Lift Telephones with built in power supply and battery back-up. ...and then GL5 – which emulates a normal telephone line through the GSM network. The unit can be installed in the machine room, lift shaft or lift car roof. With an integrated battery back-up the GL5 can drive up to 5 SafeLine MX or SL1.  more

The Schmersal Group extends its programme of optoelectronic safety guards through the acquisition of Safety Control GmbH and Safety Protec GmbH, located at Mühldorf/ Inn. These companies, which will trade under the name of Schmersal Safety Control GmbH from now on, will become the Centre of Competence for optoelectronic safety switchgear of the company group.  more Electronics is not always the keyword in machine safety.
