The TQ 900 pull-wire switch with robust die-cast IP 67 enclosure is equipped with non-latching switching contacts. The ZQ 900 can be used as pull-wire emergency stop switch for safety-related applications in accordance with the “emergency stop standard” EN ISO 13850 or IEC 60947-5-5. As soon as the switch is actuated, it snaps and locks into emergency stop position and then needs to be reset through an individual unlocking button. Due to the position of the button, the operator can notice from a distance whether the safety function has been triggered. The ZQ 900 optionally can be equipped with an indicator light as well as an additional emergency stop pushbutton enabling the local activation of the emergency stop function.

On smaller machinery and in confined areas, the compact models ZQ 700 and TQ 700 with two switching contacts can be used. The pull-wire rope of the compact versions can have a length of up to 10 meters; for the large models, it can extend to 50 meters. All series feature wire-breakage monitoring. If the pull-wire rope should break or be removed, the emergency stop or “off” function of the switch is autonomously activated. The position indication, installed on all models, enables a smooth setting of the correct wire tension.

The S 900 is now available as innovative extra feature for all series: this wire-tensioning device facilitates the fitting and the fine adjustment of the pull-wire rope. The user only needs to insert one end of the wire in the S 900; after blocking it with a screw, he can set the required wire tension by means of a hexagonal screw. The pull-wire rope can be tensioned or re-tensioned over a distance of 12 cm, without the rope being twisted or requiring repeated stripping. This feature enables achieving effortlessly the desired wire tension and considerably facilitates the fitting and especially the re-tensioning of the pull-wire rope. The S 900 wire-tensioning device is not only extremely convenient: because of its elegant design, it was awarded the 2008 iF Award.
