List of references of harmonised standards for machinery under Directive 2006/42/EC published!

On 2009.12.18, the European Commission has published the list of titles and references of harmonised standards for Machinery under Directive 2006/42/EC in the Official Journal of the European Union C 309/29.
With this publication, shortly before the new Machinery Directive coming into effect on 2009.12.19, the larger part of the standards under this Directive has been published, so that the users can benefit from their presumption of conformity.
Surprisingly, for the safety-related parts of control systems, only the EN ISO 13849-1 is listed as harmonized standard with "presumption of conformity". The standards EN 62061 and EN 954-1 are not included in the list. These however will be completed shortly, considering that – amongst other things – the presumption of conformity of the EN 954-1 must be extended.
