Quality, flexibility and speed

Highest quality requirements, great variety of types and short deliveries: These are the main parameters for which Schmersal production is organised.
Elan produces a broad range of switchgear, extending from hygiene-conform and vandal-proof operating devices to highly complex safety-oriented control systems.
Accordingly, production is highly flexible and was completely restructured with the move of Elan to a new building.
Strict quality requirements apply to all work processes.

Fitting

Since we manufacture almost all our products in a great variety of types, most of the devices are completely assembled by a single person at an individual station. All final assembly stations are provided with test devices. Deviations from the required values can thus be determined quickly and corrective measures taken, if necessary. For ranges of devices which we produce in larger quantities, we also use part automated assembly steps.

Quality control in electronic production

All electronic cards go through a sight inspection, an electrical test and a function test under pre-determined temperature cycles.
