Elan feels obliged towards the idea of sustainability: in all our entrepreneurial activities we view economic, ecological and social aspects as equal factors. For example, during product development and, of course, also in production we pay attention to a careful handling of resources that place as little burden on the environment as possible.

Since 2003, Elan has had an occupational health and safety management system certified by the Berufsgenossenschaft der Feinmechanik und Elektrotechnik. In this connection an operational hazardous substance register was installed in order to guarantee the greatest possible safety for employees and the environment with respect to this sensitive subject.

As a company manufacturing and selling safety products, we feel particularly obliged to offer occupational health and safety for our employees. For this reason all processes, in particular new processes and procedures, are checked in the development and planning phase with respect to their influence on occupational health and safety.

The company’s management also takes its obligation very seriously to offer employees safe workplaces, to give them responsibility and promote their careers.
