Wuppertal, 17 July 2018. Andreas Balack is the new manager of the Schmersal Group’s South Germany sales region. With his 44 years, he has already more than 20 years of sales experience. He worked, for example, in the field of plastics processing in southern Germany for several years . Balack gained his profound industry expertise regarding machine building and functional machine safety especially during his many years as deputy sales manager at a company selling safe automation technology. There he was responsible for sales channel management.
At Schmersal he manages a heterogeneous team of 25 people, comprising customer service employees, product managers and engineers. “Our sales team consists of specialists from different fields so that we are able to react to customer requirements and changing market demands faster and more flexible”, Balack explains. “It is one of Schmersal’s most important strengths to prioritise customer requirements and to realise them in the best possible way. This quality is our asset, since it is our aim to strengthen our position as the leading provider of systems and solutions in the field of machine safety. ”
