New Associate Vice President Sales for Schmersal India

Ramji Singh took over as the new Associate Vice President Sales for Schmersal India in April 2015. The sales professional has many years of experience in industrial safety and automation technology. He spent over ten years –  out of a total 22 years of professional experience – serving the Indian market in various management positions for international groups active in this industry.  Before making the move to Schmersal, Ramji Singh most recently worked as the country manager for Rittal India Pvt. Ltd - EPLAN Software & Service Division - a software manufacturer and leading provider of E-CAD/CAE solutions which belongs to the Friedhelm Loh Group with its over 11,500 employees worldwide. In this position, he was responsible for all business activities in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Ramji Singh has excellent skills in key account management and represents suitable manpower for the further expansion of the Indian market. Schmersal India's production site in Ranjangaon near Pune has a production capacity of 3.6 million safety switchgear units per year. The companies supplies these products to the Indian market and hopes to export to other Asian countries in future.
