Ready to run?

The 6th July, the first Sunday of the summer holidays, has long been marked in the calendars of the sports-mad employees at the Schmersal head office in Wuppertal. The date they have all been waiting for is the "Schwebebahn" fun run along the route of the suspended railway.

This year's race will see a number of teams from a range of local companies taking part under the motto "Moving - For each other and with each other." The 5-km race follows the "Talachse" route through the city's valley and will not just have one winner, because everyone who takes part is seen as a winner. Participating in the fun run is not just beneficial for the health; it also creates a feeling of team spirit. The team from Schmersal is taking part in the run for the fourth time, and the company is once again providing support as a sponsor.
