Review of the SPS in pictures: Video interviews about innovations

It was the "largest SPS IPC Drives of all time" summed up trade fair organizer Mesago. The automation fair in Nuremberg recorded record results in 2017, with more than 70,000 visitors.
There was also a lot of activity at the Schmersal Group stand. A video available under this link shows impressions of the busy Schmersal booth. Schmersal presented some innovations at SPS - three of them can be seen in these videos: The highlight of SPS 2017 was the first safety-to-cloud solution. In this video, Oscar Arias, Chief Sales Officer of the Schmersal Group, explains the benefits of this solution with respect to Industry 4.0 / IIoT. Another novelty: the new safety light curtains and safety light grids of the SLC / SLG 240 COM product series. Klaus Schuster, Managing Director of the Schmersal subsidiary Safety Control, describes the new functionalities in this video. Thanks to the modular design the new position switches of the PS116, PS2xx and PS3xx series are very flexible in use. How this works is explained by Schmersal product manager Heiko Bach in this video.
