RSS 260 RFID safety sensor nominated for GIT Award

Following its launch at the SPC IPC Drives fair in 2013, an expert jury has now nominated Schmersal's RSS260 safety sensor for the 2015 GIT Safety Award under the category "Safe Automation".

Despite its compact design, the safety switching device manages to achieve a high switching distance. The sensor and target communicate using RFID technology with improved safety measures developed by Schmersal engineers. One of the highlights of the RSS 260 is its ability to use a range of different codes, which include an individual coding function. This increases its tamper resistance. Vote for us! Please use the link below and select the RSS 260 as best product in category A. You have until 1 October 2014 to vote. Anyone who votes will be in with a chance to win an SLR camera.
