Schmersal at bauma 2019 in Munich

Bauma is a huge trade fair which took place in Munich in April. From April 8 until April 14, 2019, construction machinery, construction vehicles and equipment were presented there. In terms of surface area, bauma is the largest trade fair in the world with 614,000 squaremeters. The outdoor areas around the exhibition halls alone make up 414,000 squaremeters of this surface area, where gigantic cranes, excavators and other huge vehicles and equipment were exhibited. Participants started to prepare their stands already in November last year. More than 13,000 trucks and 600 high-load transporters were needed for this extraordinary project. This year, more than half a million visitors attended the trade fair.

Schmersal participated in bauma 2019 for the first time, together with their sales partner ScanMin Africa, to present extensive solutions for the mining, cement, bulk and extraction industries. One of Schmersal's highlights at this trade faire was the new switchgear series, HDS.
