Schmersal at the Association of German Engineers (VDI) Recruiting Day 2017

Together with the ‘Zukunftsallianz Maschinenbau – Fit for future markets’ the Schmersal Group will be, for the first time, represented at the VDI news Recruiting Day 2017. At the career fair in Dortmund, Germany, on 7 September 2017, the organisation wants to present itself as an innovative and attractive employer to engineers as well as to the professional and managerial staff.  “The Schmersal Group is a member of the nationwide network ‘Zukunftsallianz Maschinenbau – Fit for future markets’ that is supporting the organisation on its way to industry 4.0. In industry 4.0 production will be interlinked with IT and communication technology. Qualification profiles related to Electronics and Information Technology are hence sought after, bringing about an overall change in focus in the hiring process. Schmersal are thus looking for software developers, applications engineers as well as for product and project managers. As Schmersal manufacture security systems that are used in mechanical engineering along with many other industries, they also want to hire qualified personnel from a wide range of areas of expertise. “The Schmersal Group is an owner-managed family business with seven manufacturing sites on three different continents and a global sales network.
