Schmersal at the Motek 2019

At the Motek 2019 in Stuttgart, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, the Schmersal Group informed visitors about new products and solutions in the field of machine safety. Highlights at the Schmersal booth were an integrated safety solution that offers the user a high level of safety, higher machine availability and significant savings potential. The AZM400 solenoid interlock has an exceptional high locking force of 10,000. In combination with the new Safety Fieldbox from Schmersal, it is now possible to connect several AZM400s in a safety chain to a PROFINET / PROFIsafe node. This solution is considerably cheaper than equipping each individual guard locking with a PROFINET interface.
