tec.nicum cooperates with the University of Wuppertal

Once again in 2018, the University of Wuppertal has asked the experts from tec.nicum to support a series of lectures in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Safety Technology.
Together with regional companies from the Bergisch Land Mechanical Engineering Network, Prof. Peter Gust is putting together a series of lectures on “Special Mechanical Engineering”.The series of lectures consists of a number of lectures and work placements. Students will gain a direct insight into the activities of the company and the lectures will enable them to learn about current topics in machine safety and design against the challenging backdrop of special mechanical engineering.
The start-up event for the series of lectures will be held by tec.nicum from the Schmersal Group on 15 October. Dipl.-Ing. Siegfried Wolf and Tobias Keller MSc. will present a talk on the subject of “Principles of Machine Safety” focussing on “Implementing the Machinery Directive / CE Conformity Assessment Procedures” at the University of Wuppertal. The series of lectures consists of a total of 13 lectures in the winter 2018/2019 semester, concluding on 21 January 2019 with a talk on “Legal Aspects of Product Liability”. The final talk will once again be given by experts from tec.nicum.
